政大廣電系第十三屆校友羊人近日作品榮登American Photo On Campus 三月號
雖然她本人之前甚少閱讀此本雜誌對於出刊日也不甚了解
不過依然是可喜可賀
羊人本人表示得知有機會登上雜誌第一時間真的是非常高興
畢竟是一個難得的機會
不過在雜誌出刊之後赫然發現
羊人一直以來的競爭對手，也是"好"姐妹，Su-Yen Chae
刊登的篇幅竟然多達兩頁
以一頁之差擊敗羊人
我個人深表遺憾
事情不是永遠都只有美好的一面
基於國仇家恨民族情感以及個人恩怨
對此，羊人除了恨意以外拒絕給予任何評論
終日鬱鬱寡歡
對於登上雜誌一事已再無喜悅
並以拒上MSN來表達無言的抗議
這個是我亂說的，她只是電腦又壞掉了

Sheep Man

For Sheep Man, coming from Taiwan to study at the University of Pennsylvania has been a difficult transition—one she’s using photography to work through. Many of Sheep Man’s images explore what she calls “food culture shock,” focusing on edible items foreign to most Americans, such as chicken hearts and feet. Often capturing closeup images by placing these items directly on a flatbed scanner, Sheep Man finds unexpected beauty in their grotesque quality—here, a pig’s heart that is submerged in its own blood, held in the photographer’s hands. Such viscera become a symbolic representation of the artist’s own gut reactions to the world around her, including the new one she inhabits in America.
